Dear diary,

Last Monday, Tuesday and Thursday were very exciting. As always, in the guise of Ernest, I have spend my days in town to enjoy myself. I went to various places such as casinos, dining clubs, theatres and spectacles. However, last thursday, I went to pay a visit at Mr Moncrieff's place and after that day, I have realised that I had lost my cigarette case. I'm not quite sure where I left it, but I think I've left it at Algy's place. Anyways, I have send some letters to Scotland Yard offering a great reward to whoever finds it. If by any chance I've left my cigarette case at Algy's place, he will probably see the inscription that says, ''From little Cecily with her fondest love to her dead uncle Jack''. Consequently, the next time I'll see him, he will probably ask me who's Cecily, and this Algernon is quite a character when it comes to persuade him. Darn it! Maybe I should pay him a visit and clarify things if I've left my cigarette case at his place. In the meantime, I'll have a chance to see Gwendolen again. My goodness, she is so beautiful! I think I'm in love with her. Maybe I should propose to her. However, I don't know how I should do that and I do not know if she feels the same thing I feel for her.

I hope everything will go as I planned, and If Gwendolen accepts my proposal, I think I will have to kill my alter ego, Ernest.
